ASSECBS University was chartered in 1994 around a single conviction: knowledge proves itself in work. The name records our four founding disciplines — Applied Sciences, Systems Engineering, Commerce and Business Studies — taught then, as now, in one connected curriculum.
We prepare people to build institutions, systems and enterprises that hold. Every programme combines rigorous theory with sustained practice: laboratory residencies, company placements and public-sector clinics are part of the degree, not an appendix to it.
The university is led by the Rector and the Academic Senate, with each school governed by its own Dean and faculty council. The Charter of 1994 remains the governing document; its motto, Scientia et Opera, appears on every diploma we confer.
